Happy birth day, Lee Hyukjae!

Wow, you’re now 27/28, time indeed passes quickly. I want to say that you’ve become a man now, but that was years ago tbqh lol. I want to thank you in person, give you a handmade card and presents, hug you or even just greet you in person, but I know I and many other fans can’t. This past year has been like a roller-coaster to you, with all the schedules, TLJ’s opening, even those scandals… But I think it’s all worth it. Why? Because you have proven, not to the fans and the media but to yourself, that you are a strong man, that even if you fall ten times you will make the effort to get up once more. That’s one of the things I like about you. I’m not saying I know exactly how you are, because any fan knows you completely; but the person you show to us is one of the bravest people I’ve ever known. We may not know who Lee Hyukjae acts, how he feels about all the up and downs through the year, but Eunhyuk is a person who not always gets what he wants, but who is hard-working. Eunhyuk is a person that doesn’t mind if he is sick, if he has gotten hurt when he is performing, a person that will give his everything and more onstage. As you said, you are a person that gives his own being during 4 seconds of a song.

To me, you are a very talented person: You may not be as handsome as other members, but you are cute in your very own way and you never fail to drive others crazy by lifting your t-shirt or with those ~~quite indecent~~ solo stages. You may not have the same vocal range as KRY, but you have improved a lot after fame, you now get more singing lines, besides the fact that you are for sure one of the best rappers in the industry, with that velvety voice that in my opinion is so much needed in super junior. You are a very funny and entertaining MC, always smiling in front of the camera, never failing to make us laugh, using your personal issues and making fun of them (in an attempt to make them less serious or frightening to you, I guess?). You are one of the best dancers in Korea, you move your body so smoothly it looks effort-less and easy, you may not make the hardest or best choreographies, but you make an effort in order for the other members to learn them and remember the dance moves. You are very kind, you are always patient and it takes a lot for you to get mad at something, as you and others have told us on shows, you have fame as a Casanova, but who knows? maybe it’s just a façade or you just need somebody to love.

Anyway, congratulations on your day! Don’t over effort yourself with a lot of work, hope you have a great day with your family and friends. Remember that, if anything bad happens, we will be with you, even if some fans are harsh and possessive, remember that we may love you but we don’t own you. You are an idol and everything, but don’t forget the fact that you are human too. You deserve to laugh, to love, to make jokes, to cry, to feel. I am not good with words and I do know that you won’t see this, but I still wanted to do it lol (even if I wrote less than a half of what I wanted to). Happy birthday our beloved myeolchi, Lee Hyukjae!
